Fake Tears is a skill that allows her to steal regardless of speed. Since Patti has a balanced growth rate where speed is not prominent, she was sometimes unable to steal due to lack of speed, but such concerns are no longer a concern. This skill name is based on Final Fantasy 4.
Note: This refers to Porom's ability. In the English version of FF4, it is simply called "Cry", but in the Japanese version it is called "うそなき" (Uso naki, meaning "Fake Crying"). The English name comes from Pokémon's Move with the same Japanese name.
Safeguard is a skill that disables the steal command. In the original FE5, Steal was disabled against Shooters, it was determined by class ID. This change has made it a skill. This skill name is based on Final Fantasy Tactics.
Note that only the display condition of the command has been changed this time, so the possibility of stealing by a unit in a berserk state remains.
