You can now get weird results if you do weird things that you wouldn't normally do. You can add people to your party who don't normally join (alternative units).
They were mainly implemented as fun elements after the 2nd round. I don't recommend reading from the beginning before playing. If possible, I would like you to not read all of this spoiler text even after the 2nd lap, and try to find it yourself. Check it out with your own eyes!!
