The new item “Super Proof” is added, and the specifications for promotion have been changed to reflect the implementation of this addition.
About Super Proof
A Super Proof lowers the level by 10 and increases the vigor★ by 1, while keeping the same ability value. In short, it has the same effect as promotion without promoting the unit. This item is useful for players who want to raise the level of a unit joining as an upper class to the same level as a unit promoted from a lower class.
Units that have had their level lowered by promotion or Super Proof cannot use Super Proof. And only upper-class units can be used, not lower-class units.
Changed specifications for promotion
In conjunction with the implementation of the new item, the promotion specifications have changed as follows:
- The first promotion from a lower class will now lower the level by 10; subsequent promotions will lower the level by 3.
- A vigor★ is now increased only the first time.
- When a vigor★ has been gained through promotion or Super Proof, it is shown as green on the unit stats screen.
Intent to change specifications
If a Super Proof could be used more than once, it could be used excessively on one unit to greatly strengthen it. Therefore, I designed it to only work once.
This item is intended to use for units joining as an upper class, but if it could be used multiple times on anyone, people may use it to further strengthen a unit joining at a lower level. By limiting the use of the item to an upper class, the intention is to ensure that it is used by a variety of units use it.
Additionally, some units that could be promoted multiple times had an excessive number of level-ups, making them unusually strong. I took this opportunity to rectify that. The level system in this hack was originally designed based on the TRS concept, and has now been brought closer to what it should be.
I have also added the item “Act Ring” which increases the vigor★, so those who want to increase their stars can use it.
