Chapter 2: The Coast of Iss [Strategy Guide]

The following is a summary of the event changes in each chapter and other points that the original players may have questions about. Chapter 2 is described here.

Strategy Guide

Some pirates have swords

If you’re running out of swords, grab some.

About Boss

Jabal will appear as the turn progresses, but you don’t need to worry about him because he is the same as other pirates in terms of strength.

Events

About Choices on Chapter Starting

  • In Classic mode, if Finn is dead or captured and absent, and Eyvel is present, Eyvel will offer you an option. You can choose to abandon the village and rush ahead.
  • In Casual mode, regardless of Finn’s state, if Eyvel is present, choices are presented.
  • If you rush ahead, Chapter 2 will end without a battle, and Chapter 2x will be skipped.
  • If you skip this event with the start button, the choices will also be skipped and the normally map strategy will start.
  • If Finn is present in the Classic mode, or if Eyvel is not present, the questioning does not occur and the village cannot be abandoned.

Allies and Items obtained when skipping Chapters 2 and 2x

  • Another character will become an ally as much as the number of allies’ joining slots remains.
  • The Scroll of Hezul is available elsewhere (much later).
  • The Repair Staff is not available (can be purchased in later chapters).

About options when seized

  • If you meet the conditions to proceed to side quest, you can choose to proceed or not.
  • If you don’t advance to side quest, Saffi, Lifis, and Shiva will join later than normal.
  • In this case, Jeanne joins in chapter 7. You can not recruit Tina because Saffi does not join by chapter 12x.

About Jabal

  • Jabal is the resurrection of an unused character. It is thought that he should have appeared in Chapter 2 based on the arrangement of the dialogue data and unit data, so I made him appear here.
  • He serves as an explanation as to why pirates target villages. It is a supplement to the “You can’t go to the pirate island,” etc. that is suddenly said when a house is destroyed. I think it is reasonably consistent, since only the reinforcement pirates target the houses on this map.
