I changed the event when Nanna defeats or captures Mareeta in Chapter 5, it will only make Nanna petrify instead of Eyvel.
This will allow Eyvel to be taken around after Chapter 6. Her growth rate in this hack has been readjusted to be higher on the assumption that she can only be used in the last 2 maps, but I dared to leave it as it is this time. It is actually quite tough to go through the early maps without Nanna, I decided that even if Eyvel were this strong, this could not become the only story everyone would choose.
This event is inspired by a glitch that existed in Vanilla, in which Eyvel returned early. The original glitch was caused by Nanna carrying Eyvel. See the video below for an explanation of the glitch. (Japanese audio, English subtitles available)
I've wanted to made this story ever since I made the videos above, but I was reluctant to made it because of the large scope of influence it would have, I finally did it. This update also includes additions and changes to the following events:
- Added branching dialogue for when only Nanna is petrified to each character’s escape quote in Chapter 5.
- Changed Finn’s escape quote in Chapter 5. He prioritizes Nanna if both Eyvel and Nanna are petrified.
- Added branching dialogue to the event at the beginning of Chapter 6.
- Added branching dialogue to the talk from Finn to Leif in Chapter 7. He also prioritizes Nanna if both Eyvel and Nanna are petrified.
- Added branching dialogue for events in Chapter 8x.
- Added the talk event from Eyvel to Mareeta in Chapter 12. She recruits Mareeta. Only one of her or Leif’s talks can be performed.
- Added branching dialogue to the talk from Leif to Salem in Chapter 12x.
- Added branching dialogue to the talk from Leif to Sara in Chapter 17A.
- Added branching dialogue to the event at the end of Chapter 18.
- Added branching dialogue to the talk from Mareeta to Saias in Chapter 22.
- Added branching dialogue to the talk from Mareeta to Galzus in Chapter 24.
- Added branching dialogue to the event at the beginning of Chapter 25.
- Changed to skip all dialogue at the end of Chapter 25 if Eyvel is not petrified at the beginning of Chapter 25. However, if Nanna remains on the map as an NPC, dialogue will appear.
Due to the large scope of influence, there may be other events that need to be changed. Please let me know if there are any scenes that you find strange.
