Changed "Drop" to "Send" in the unit's item menu, sends the selected item to the depository

The "Drop" command in the unit's item menu has been changed to "Send". The selected item will be sent to the depository.

If the selected item cannot be sold or discarded, cannot be deposited, or if the depository is full, it cannot be sent.
No merging when sending items with this command.

FAQ: Why make this change?

I have been thinking about this for a while, does FE need a "Discard" command?

In recent FE, the main character can always use the "Convoy" command for no story reason, and there is almost no limit to the number of items they can have in convoy, so there is no reason to discard an item. It looks like they are making a decision to keep it for no reason because the "Drop" (or "Discard") command has been around for a long time.

Also, there is a mysterious asymmetry in that an item can be sent to the convoy (or the depository) when it is newly acquired. If we can send an item in this case, why can't we send items all the time? This led to bad techniques like "keep items full and send them to the depository (when you get the magic ring in chapter 5, etc.)".

Especially in FE5, the item organization at chapter 3-7 is hell. I think this kind of system would help the players mentally.

FAQ: Isn't that too much of a gameplay change?

It is, but I don't think organizing items is the main fun of the game. I would say that the only thing that stands out more than the fun of resource management is the fact that your inventory is always full and has to be constantly organized, which is frustrating.

FAQ: Isn't this system a bad match for a Transporter?

I do not think it is a good idea to add this system at the same time that it was added the promotion to the Transporter. While the transporter still has the advantage of being able to draw items freely, it is undeniable that the attractiveness has been reduced.

For these reasons, I also considered changing the command to "Send" in Normal mode, and keeping "Drop" in Hard or Maniac modes. On the other hand, changing the command based on difficulty is undesirable because it can lead to accidents such as "I thought I sent it, but it got thrown away". So I set it to "Send" regardless of the degree of difficulty.

I think that the Transporter will be useful as a dropper for items in the depository, since I have replaced the "Drop" command with a "Send" command, and the depository in FE5 can only hold up to 128 items. I will have to actually play through to get a feel for how it will actually be used.

In FE7, if Merlinus was not in the field, an item would have to be discarded, even if it was newly acquired. Related to this, I considered something like making "send" usable only when the Transporter was on the map, but if that system were adopted in FE5, it would not work in chapters 3-7, where "send" would be most useful. I do not plan to adopt it.

Related Changes

With this change, the tool shop in chapters 1 and 2 has been changed to a depository, and the dialogue of the old man who gives you the sword in chapter 1 has been changed.

Some people may not trust that the item they executed "send" was really sent to the depository until they actually see it. Therefore, I have made it possible to check the depository in Chapters 1 and 2.
